The Frontier Futon Mattress

Need a mattress for your Frontier Futon? Here it is! Custom-made in the USA for use with our viral campervan futon, this tri-fold cushion set converts seamlessly between bed and couch mode all while being super comfortable to use.

Ideally sized for the Frontier Futon, you won’t find a better-fitting mattress for this piece of gear. The three cushions are connected via a long velcro hinge and flip into action for both the bed and couch settings with little effort.

These mattresses are made by a trusted manufacturing partner in Oregon from high-quality foam and durable cover. It comes in a standard gray color, and the covers can be removed for cleaning. Pick the length that’s appropriate for your Frontier Futon and you’ll be good to go!

How long until I get my mattress?
Because these mattresses are only available on a made-to-order basis by one of our trusted manufacturing partners, they may a little longer to get to you than your Basic Bunk will. We estimate that your mattress should arrive within 2-4 weeks of placing your order, although that wait time is subject to change.
Why is this mattress so expensive?
All of the mattresses for our products are made with high-quality foam and fabric here in the United States on a custom basis. This means it won’t be cheap, but it functions perfectly with your Frontier Futon and will provide you with exactly what you need to get a good night’s sleep on the road!
Can I customize any part of this mattress?
It depends. Because this mattress is designed to work with the convertible design of the Frontier Futon it may be harder to alter the design. Do contact us though if you want to discuss any possible mattress customizations!
Can you ship abroad or to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes we do, but you will need to contact us to make a special shipping arrangement. We offer free shipping of our mattresses to all customers in the contiguous United States but for anyone outside the US or in Alaska/Hawaii we will need to generate a custom shipping quote and charge accordingly.

    I originally bought my Frontier Futon without the mattress because I thought some cushions I had would work but after getting frustrated with those I decided to get the real deal Frontier Futon mattress and I am very glad that I did. The cushions are PERFECT for the Frontier Futon and transform between the bed and couch settings very easily. They don’t come apart either! It’s a very comfortable setup and while a 4″ thick foam mattress may not seem like the most luxurious thing I have slept great and would recommend anyone thinking about getting a Frontier Futon to get the mattress as well.
