Most sleeping platforms are built to general measurements. The 5th gen 4Runner BamBed was built from a high-accuracy 3D scan of the actual 4Runner interior, which means the outer contours fit closely to the cargo area, minimize movement, and sit the way a factory accessory should. No shimming, no gap-filling, no wondering if it'll wobble on a rough road.
The platform rests on the folded second row and its own support legs, holds up to 1,000 lbs., and installs in about five minutes without tools. Rails include access holes so you can reach the rear power outlet without removing the platform. When you need the space back, each panel lifts out in seconds.
One variant choice at checkout: with or without the bumper board extension, which pushes platform length from 5'8" to 6'2" by extending even with the top of the folded seat bottoms.
Note: Not compatible with the 3rd row seat option or the sliding cargo tray option.
