Perfectly sized for two tall adventurers, it ensures a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring.
In couch mode, the Frontier Futon transforms your van into the ultimate hangout spot, comfortably seating 3–4 people. Whether you’re hosting friends, relaxing with a book, or enjoying a sunset view, it’s your go-to space for downtime. An optional custom mattress is available, in a standard gray color. Its design ensures a seamless transition between couch and bed mode!
The Frontier Futon is available as a DIY kit that’s easy to assemble, or you can pick it up at our Port Townsend, Washington shop, where we’ll install it for you at no extra cost. Mattresses are produced by a trusted partner in Oregon and ship/arrive in a separate package.

The Frontier Futon is the ultimate piece of transforming furniture for your van. This modular furniture option includes a wheel well cutout for space efficiency and includes two leveler legs for adjustability. The Frontier Futon is for you if you are tall, love saving space, and can’t decide between a bed and a couch.
