Based in Port Townsend on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, our consignment services are open to anyone who can bring their vehicle to our facility. Once your van is in our hands, we take on all the marketing, communication, and buyer tours; freeing you up completely while we work to get your van sold.

OUR PROCESS

Inspection

Each vehicle consignment goes through a pre-inspection phase that starts with a thorough review of the interior build from one of our campervan experts. If there are any outstanding issues or components that need attention, we'll provide a detailed list of items to address prior to listing. We require that all consignment vehicles come with recent mechanical inspections and up-to-date maintenance records, which we'll make available to prospective buyers throughout the sales process. Our team will work with you to ensure everything is documented and ready before your van goes live on our listings, which includes a detailed agreement to sign.

Listing

A flat listing fee of $300 covers a professional photo shoot and placement across our website, social media, our email newsletter, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist. Camp N Car has built a large and engaged audience of campervan enthusiasts, giving your vehicle direct exposure to thousands of qualified buyers. Additional advertising options including paid social ads and expanded platform listings are available for an added fee to maximize your van's reach.

Payment

Once your van is listed, our experienced sales team handles all buyer interactions and viewings from start to finish. When a buyer is found and a sale is finalized, Camp N Car will guide you through the retitling process and collect a percentage of the final sale price once payment has cleared. Vans selling for $110,000 or more are charged a 5% consignment fee. This fee increases by 1% for every $20,000 below that threshold, up to a maximum 10% consignment fee for vans selling at $30,000 or less. Our sliding-scale structure ensures fair compensation relative to sale price while keeping your net return as strong as possible.
